I have made a very wide access table and it seems it is too wide to print.
How can I resize it and get the text to wrap around, printing on a 8X11 sheet
of paper? I've tried to paste it into Word, but I cant resize it once its
there...help!

You don't print a table. You print a report.

Go build a report and format it properly to fit on a page.

A much bigger issue though, How many fields do you have in your table? A
properly designed *relational* database would have many related tables with
each one being no more than ten or fifteen fields. It sounds to me like you
are trying to create a spreadsheet in Access. Access is not a spreadsheet
application.

Post your design and perhaps we can help you normalize it.

Thanks for the replies.

A speadsheet would have been fine, but I needed to be able to alphabetize
one of the columns. Each table has about 18 columns fields in it. I tried
making a report, but the entries got cut off. due to their size. "2-Propanol,
Isopropyl Alcohol" is a typical entry size in a cell.

How would I post my design?

Just tell us the field names and types.

A report should work fine. The controls could be several inches wide. You
may need three or four lines per record.

The benefit of creating a report from the data in the table is that
there are a variety of formats the Report Wizard will use to create the
output, making your decisions easier.

And with a report, you can grab the text box and make it whatever size
you need in order to display the largest entry, and move the text boxes
and their labels around until the layout makes sense.

is there a way to wrap around text in order for it to fit?

here are the entries in a typical row; each line a different field:

Rust-O Stops Rust Enamel
Acetone
Liq Petro Gas
Toluene
Xylene
Titanium Dioxide
Magnesium Silicate
Stoddard Solvents
Aliphatic Hydrocarbon Propylene Carbonate
Ethylbenzene
N-Butyl Acetate
Aromatic Solvent
1,2,4- Trimethylbenzene
Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether
Upstairs
1/4/06

Isn't there some automatic function that will take all of the information
and makee it print ready? I cant quite figure out how to make the form in
design view to do anything right. I must admit that I'm trying to teach
myself all of this not coming from any "office" background, and appriciate
your patience.
