How do I print a doc containing text in text boxes?

I have downloaded a document in Word from a government site that contains
text in text boxes. When I attempt to print I get the bits of text not in
boxes but not the boxes or contents.
I confess I have not used Word text boxes myself but I have not encountered
this problem before when using other peoples documents. (I have used text
boxes in Publisher without problem).
My version of Word is in Office 2003
Thanks for any help.

Make sure you have "Drawing objects" checked on the Print tab of Tools |
Options.
