how do I post an appointment to more than one calendar?

Example: Someone in my office is out and uses his cell phone to connect to
his calendar to log and appointment. The appointment is not simultaneously
posted to the main office calendar.

If someone is out of the office when they make an appointment, they must
remember to post the appointment on the company calendar once they return to
the office. And of course, they forget, so two people are trying to use the
conference room at the same time.

Even if they could request that an email be forwarded to a contact person at
the office, it would help. Does anyone know how this can be done?

Ideally, they would make an appointment on their personal calendar and it
would be duplicated on the office calendar.
