How do I permanently reset Word to print 1 pg at a time

My system currently always prints 2 pages at a time. I must repeatedly reset
Print properties to "1" only get one page printed at a time.
 
Try accessing the printer Properties from Start | Settings | Printers rather
than through the Word Print dialog and see if that helps.
