How do I password protect my site?

I have a family website that I have designed with Front Page using Geocities
as the host. I want to password protect the site so that only people who
know me can view. Does anybody know the easiest way to do this? After I do
set up a password protection how easy is it for people to get around that?

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
