How do I page No. like 1 of 10; 2 of 10, etc in Word

Hi mmcyrus

Assuming you want the page number in the footer, do View > Header and
Footer. On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the button whose tooltip
says "Switch between Header and Footer". The cursor should now be in the
Footer.

Now, on the Header and Footer toolbar, click Insert Auto Text and choose
Page X of Y. Word will automatically put the text and the codes in the
footer for you.

Hope this helps.

If your cursor is in a page header or footer, click the Insert
AutoText button at the left end of the Header/Footer toolbar and
choose Page X of Y. You can also choose this from the Insert >
AutoText menu anywhere in the document, although I'm not sure why
you'd want to.

If the results don't behave properly, see
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/PageXofY.htm.

You do this in the header or footer. View > Headers/Footers....

Take a look at http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm.
