How do I open Word Template using Access Cmd button

I can open a word document using a Command button but unable to open a Word
template. Any ideas?
 
Wayne:

The procedure should be the same, except obviously you are using a .dot file
extension. The following KB article may be helpful. If not, you may want
to post more details of your specific issue.
