I have saved some important emails etc. on a zip drive in .pst format.

However when I try to import them back into outlook they will not open.

The default always goes to the web site for opening files that are not
recognised?? and this says to open them with outlook??

Can anyone please let me know the way to re-open these saved files into
outlook's personal folder.

It's driving me mad, regards

You mention 'import' - are you trying to use the Import function? Don't!

Just open the PST file from File, Open, Outlook Data File. If this
doesn't work, give us your Outlook version and exact error message you
are getting.

Don't try to open them with Windows Explorer. Start Outlook and use
File>Open>Outlook Data File.
