How do I open files with the file extension .eml?

I can not seem to figure this out, and when I go to the Microsoft website to
try and down load Outlook Express Electronic Mail, I can't seem to be able to.
Pleae help.

Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer and generally is installed by
default under Windows 2000/XP. Do you have a file named msimn.exe at
\Program Files\Outlook Express?

ps - *.EML files are basically plain text files that can be opened in
Notepad if push comes to shove. OE just makes in pretty to read. :)
 
you can use notepad or any text editor...
