How do I open attachments in multi-part e-mails

Sender sent me an e-mail with a pdf attachment file, but I received it in 8
parts. I am also unable to open the attachments. I am only able to read the
text in the part 1 of the message.

Can you ask the sender to send the message in 1 part? Outlook can't combine
multi-part attachments.
