When I receive attachments in my e-mail the paper clip is 'greyed out' and I
cannot open it. Also, when I send attachments (photos and documents) the
recipients can't open them. Is there an answer to this problem? I am using
Windows 2000 Professional, and URL = NTL.

Sounds like you might be using Outlook Express and not Microsoft Outlook.
For Outlook Express, select Tools > Options > Security tab and uncheck the
second box from the top concerning potentially dangerous attachments.

See if http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm helps.

But what version of Outlook are you using? What format are you using to
send the mail?
