How do I open an Excel Attacment???

I'm a new user with MS Office 2003 Student Teacher edition ad have recieved
an email from a colleague with an attatchment... I cannot open the
attatcment, I can see the yellow envelope in the heading of the email, also
the paperclip beside the sender's name. BUT how do I open it??? Thankyou!!

If it's a yellow envelope, then you might not have got Excel installed.
It *should* be the Excel workbook icon.
