How do I open an email that used excell sprdsht. when I dont have

trying to open an email thats using excell spreadsheet and it says my comp.
cant open that file. Do i have to have excell to do this & is there a way of
downloading the excell program for free. Thanks for any assistance you have
to offer.
 
Maybe try asking in an Email newsgroup, or an Excel newsgroup. This is
neither. This is an ACCESS newsgroup. Access is a database.

Please note that I have seen your question before (many times) rather than
posting it again, why don't you simply do a search and read the previous
posts that include a resolution?

Before posting to a newsgroup you should always look for your answer in the
previous posts.
 
Hi Karen,

As Rick says, this isn't the right place to ask this question. But if
you look in http://www.microsoft.com you should be able to find both a
free "Excel viewer" and a free trial version of Microsoft Office.
