How do I open a recent document?

I need to open a recent document that is within the nine most recent, but
even when I change the number of entries in the recent documents list on the
file menu, there are only four entries. How can I find and open this document
If I don't know what I saved it under?

Click on "Start" then "Documents" and see if it is there.

If not. Click on "Start", "Search", "For files and folders".
