I often type letters and wish to move what I have written to other places on
the letter. How do I do this please?

It is called cut and paste. Select the text you want to move with your mouse
(highlight it). Then click on it and drag it where you want it to be. If
that doesn't work, while the text is highlighted, press Ctrl-X to cut it.
Click your mouse where you want it and press Ctrl-V to paste it. The cut and
paste commands are also available by clicking on the right button on your
mouse.
