how do I move files from word 2002 to word 2003 without filecorrup

how do I move files from word 2002 to word 2003 without file corruption?

When I moved the files from my old computer to the new one there were
several corrupted files.

Do I need a converter or something?
 
Do not do anything on a floppy drive from within Word.
