how do I merge outlook address books

One person left the company. He has an address book on his computer that I
would like to import and merge with my address book so that I have one
composite address book on my computer

One person left the company. He has an address book on his computer that I
would like to import and merge with my address book so that I have one
composite address book on my computer

Outlook doesn't use an address book, it uses Contacts folders. What type of
account did this person use, Exhchange, POP, IMAP? If the first, then your
Exchange admin should be able to migrate the contacts from the old mailbox
to yours. If POP or IMAP, then you'll need to acquire the PST the other
person was using, transfer it to your PC, then add it to your mail profile
to get the data it contains.
