How do I make windows mail my default

I can't seem to make windows mail my default. For some reason the default
tab is not working when I try. Does anyone know how to make this my default
e-mail address?
 
Go to "Start" - "Default Programs" - "Set your default programs".
Highlight "Windows Mail", then click on "Choose defaults for this program".
click on "Select all"
click on "Save"

The default button in accounts only becomes active if you have more than one
account.

Do you mean make WM your default mail application?

If so go to either the start menu, or control panel>default programs, and
ensure that WM has all its defaults set.

Get back if you still have problems?
