I have been learning MSFP with a book "MSOFP 2003 Step by Step. They have
practice web sites throughout the book taken from an included CD. My insert
page banner and navigation selections on the standard menu are dimmed and I
cannot figure out how to make them available to even follow the examples in
the book. Should these selections be available or is there some option that
needs to be set. I just purchased this 2003 FrontPage software brand new. I
have not made any option changes from the default.

Yes Rob I do have the web site open. I have had several web sites open and
at no time is the insert banner or navigation selections available.

Under Page Options, do you have shared borders enabled?

Yes Thomas the shared borders was checked but I noticed that navigation was
not checked and checked it. I opened a web site and guess what? The page
banner and navigation selections were there. You helped me in a round about
way. Thanks!!
