How do I make Outlook my default email program?

I am receiving my email on my web mail but it is not going to outlook. I
have followed the instructions in Outlook.

What version of Outlook and what type of account?

"bellsouth.net" is not a type of account. "POP3", "HTTP", "Exchange",
"IMAP" are types of accounts.

OK, then. Now, you originally said, "I am receiving my email on my web mail
but it is not going to outlook." When you press Send/Receive, what happens?
Also, what does it say in the "E-mail" field when you start Internet
Explorer and click Tools>Internet Options>Programs?
