how do i make one song play throughout apresentation?

Every time I want to make one song play through my powerpoint presentation it
always stops playing when i click to go to the next slide, i want to know how
i can make one song play continuously through the presentation.

Insert the sound file on the selected slide. You'll then have to "right
click" on the sound icon and choose custom animation. Click the dropdown
next to the sound file and choose "effect options". Choose the "effect" tab
and select "stop playing after XX slides". Enter the number of slides you
want the song to play through.
