I need to make an icon on a tool bar for my users. Any suggestions greatly

With what aspect of this, more specifically, do you need
assistance? There's very little we can do to help without
more information

1. Version of Word
2. What should the toolbar button do

In any case, the starting point would certainly be
Tools/Customize/Commands.
