I'm trying to make a box with an x in it in powerpoint, and I can't figure
out how to do this. Does anyone know how?

Hi Kathryn

A small box (like a checkbox) or a big box? And what version are you using?
I would use a symbol (probably a wingding) for the former and an
autoshape/line combination for the latter.

With the autoshape line combination, i can't seem to get the line to go right
to the corners, is there not an automatic way of doing this with, like, a
pattern or something?

Kathryn,

Set your View to 400%. This might allow you to more precisely align your
lines with your corners.

Hi,

How about 1 single cell table with diagonal borders applied.

Cheers

What Sandy said, and you might have to turn off Snap to Grid.
