how do I lock a key in a Microsoft Word form?

I've designed a form in Word where users can enter info. In the comment box
they may enter more info but if they hit the [enter] key a line is inserted.
I would like to prevent that from happening.

Most users solve the problem by hiding whatever they type in after the
enter. They put the field in a table or frame with fixed size. What you are
talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For
more about online forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at

You can also reprogram the Enter key to act like a tab key in your form.

Hope this helps,
