How do I link an object from Word or Excel in PowerPoint?

hey,

I created an Excel document and from there created a linked graph into Word.
I now want to take either the Excel chart or the Word chart and link it into
my PowerPoint presentation. I do not want a copy of the chart but a link, so
that when I change my Excel info so will the info in PowerPoint.

Select the chart in Excel and choose Edit, Copy.
Switch to PPT, choose Edit, Paste Special. Put a check next to Link and click
OK


Done.
