How do I know the number of incoming emails when receiving mail?

Before I upgraded to Outlook 2003, the Send/Receive Status would show how
many emails I was receiving after clicking on Send/Receive.

With Outlook 2003, it doesn't.

Can I change a setting (that I am not finding) to get the number of incoming
(or outgoing) emails to show on the Status screen?

It should but not as well as Outlook 2000 in IMO mode. what type of account?
 
I figured it out, Bill. It shows it at the bottom of the screen now instead
of in the "Send/Receive" box. I guess I can live with that.
