How do I keep two words from separating on different lines?

I want to keep two words together, always on the same line, with a single
space between.

Put a "hard space" between the words. To do that, simply press your
"control" button down and hold it while you press your "space bar" down.
You'll see a little circle. That little circle is the "hard space" and takes
the place of a regular space. Now those words will always stay together.
You use a "hard space" in many instances. One example is in the following,
"Mr. Jones". You would put the hard space between "Mr." and "Jones". This
way you wouldn't have "Mr." at the end of a line and "Jones" at the beginning
of the next line.

I hope this answers your question.

Ctrl+Spacebar will remove manual font formatting (or switch to Chinese or
something if you have Asian language support installed). Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar
inserts a nonbreaking space.
