I expect you have the View set to Unread messages. Change it to just
Messages

provide me the how?

Tools-Email Accounts-Change-More Settings - Advanced

What type of account? What version of Outlook? What does "Internet
Outlook" mean to you?

I am a teacher at school with outlook 2007. If I'm at home and connecting to
teh internet and opening Outlook I see all messages. If I then go to school
and hook up to the network all teh previous messages are gone. I have even
done this. I've had my network Outlook open with email messages in my inbox
and then gone to another room and looked at my messages (because they had
been deleted) and upon return to my computer the messages have been
removed??????

I constantly have to log on to the internet Outlook to see my messages
because they get removed from my network Outlook

Thanks for helping

My view is set to messages.

I also went into the advanced settings adn it says I'm running in the
"unicode mode against Microsoft Exchange" if I go into it it doesn't allow me
to make and change. It does let me "Compact Now". I don't have a clue what it
does??

Thanks for the help

I'm afraid I'm not an expert on exchange - better wait for one to come
along!
