how do i insert a table of figures or list of tables in a report?S

How do create a list of table in my report using word 2007.I have created a
table of contents but dont know how to create a list of tables. I'd be
grateful for step by step directions.Thanks
 
Click the References tab on the ribbon. In the Captions group, click Insert
Table of Figures.
