I did a mail merge for labels but now want to add 2006 to each label. Is
there a shortcut or do I have to type it into all 200+ labels?

Depending on where you want to insert the 2006, you might be able
to use the Edit->Replace function in Word to find and replace all
in your merged labels.

Insert the 2006 into the mailmerge main document and then re-execute the
merge.

Hi Doug,

I want to place 2006 after each company name on the file label. The
mailmerge main document is a table which you had recommended to me a few
weeks ago when I had a problem with mailmerge from a list in Word. Do I have
to type 2006 on every line? I tried Garfield-n-Odie's suggestion using
Find>Replace but cannot figure out how to replace empty spaces. I tried
various ways to insert the date but that didn't work either. Any more
suggestions?

You'll need to rerun the merge from the data file. Use the original Merge
document and add 2006 where you want it to be in the first cell, then
propagate the labels again to transfer the new information to all the cells,
then merge to a new document.
