How do I import photographs from a thumb drive to my PC?

J

All my digital photos are on a SD card which I have now inderted into a card
reader/USB flash drive and put in my PC's USB port.

How do I transfer the images to my PC? and store then where I want them?

Thanks very much and sorry for the newbie question....I am either stumped,
dumb or have forgotten.....

Well, it isn't really anythign to do with Outlook, so, if the following steps
don't help you, you might want to post in a group specific to whatever OS
you're running:

Go to Start, click on My Computer, open the drive that represents the the
SD card and navigate to where the photos are and copy them to wherever you
want them.

Newbie, eh? I'll say. That question isn't even remotely related to MS
Outlook!

First, when you are navigating the Microsoft Communities group tree, forget
MS Office. Instead, navigate toward your Operating System. Find a "general"
group which is appropriate for your OS (which you neglected to mention, so I
can't tell you which exact group is appropriate).

Second, when you find the appropriate group, explain which OS you have,
including version, and service pack level (if any).
