How do I import Account information?

I have nearly 50 e-mail accounts on a Office 2000 system that I would like to
load into my Offcie 2002 system without typeing each of them in.

In Outlook 2000's tool->E-Mail Accounts edit dialog, you can export the
account information for each account to a "Internet Account File" (*.iaf) and
then import each file into Outlook 2000 that is on a different system. This
makes it easy to migrate between or copy to different computers.

I can not find a similar function in Outlook 2002. Any hints?

Thanks,

I'd suggest asking your question in a newsgroup related to Outlook.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

you could always export these from Access.. i dont know if you could
write them to the 2002 version :)

did you overwrite outlook 2000?

i would have tried importing it from 2000 into a MDB and then try
pushing it back to 2002

it's kinda amazing to me the things that you can do with Access and
Outlook combined.. it's like wonderful

Hi,

I know I posted this to the wrong forumn, but I thought I'd let you know the
result of my inquiry to the Outlook forumn.

After trying many (it seems like thousands) options, I finally gave up -- I
reinstalled Outlook 2000. I wish I would have been able to resolve this
problem.

Thanks,

Tom
