how do I have deleted messages get sent to "Deleted Items" folder

When I delete a message in my Inbox, a line just goes thru the subject title.
How do I get it sent to my "Deleted Items" Folder? I dont want all these
deleted messages in my inbox.

In IMAP accounts, you have to use Edit->Purge to get rid of the message.

That's how deleting in IMAP accounts works. Change your view to "Hide
Messages Marked for Delete"
