How do I get Word Count to include Words in a Text Box

I am wrting a book in word. I am attempting to keep
track of my Word Count. I just noticed that Word does
not count text that is in Text Boxes to the total. If
you highlight each text box it will give the count indivually
but not include it in the running total.
What do you activate to cout all of the words including
thise in a text box? I am using microsoft 2003.

No easy way to do this. If you convert your textboxes to frames, their
content is part of the main story, and included in the word count. But
converting textboxes to frames has other implications, that you might prefer
to avoid.
