How do I get to the code in .mdb

I have to update some code and forms in a former employees .mdb - HOWEVER - I
have no Access experience! When I open the .mdb, there are no menu options to
go into Design view or edit the forms. How can I get past the application's
front-end?

If you are sure it's an .mdb, hold down the shift key when you open
the database.
If it is really an .mde you are out of luck unless you have the .mdb.
