How do I get the send/receive box to close after it is done in Ou.

After sending and receiving emails with Outlook 2003 the progress box does
not close unless I close it myself. It used to work ok any suggestions?

There should be a "pushpin" icon on the Send/Receive box. If it is "pushed
in", the box remains open. Next time it's open, click on it and the box will
close on its own from then on.
