How do I get the program to work with and save frames?

I have been trying to work with only two frames. One small top one with no
links in it and a larger bottom one. I keep getting the message in the code
that my browser doesn't support frames. I have MSN Exploryer Version 9 and
IE Version 6.0 2900. It sure does support fames.

Why would it worry about my browser, when it is other people who will be
looking at my site.

How can I fix this problem?

Are you seeing the message when viewing the page in the browser, in FP
preview, FP norla or FP code view?

I stopped using frmes long timr ago. It is stadard practice to include a
default comment in the main frame that will display for browsers that do
not support frames. The standard message is "your browser does not
support frames blah blah blah"

Just a follow up on this --- what's the alternative ? if for example
you want to have a left navigation panel ~ static fixed with no
reloading over several pages of the site - is there an alternative to
Frames - which seems ideal for something like this, at least it saves
placing a navigation bar on every page of the site, where once and once
only in a navigation side frame does it for you.

What I want the fame to do is to keep a top border in place. I can get the
same effect with a fixed background but it really isn't the same.

What it is suppose to be is like the upper trim for a room as you progress
through the room I would like the top or ceiling to be there.

May I ask what that is? Thank you.

It is a way to include the same content on multiple page via a single file. See help for info.
