How do I get the mail merge file to stay in one letter?

I am trying to merge a file onto a letter, but I'd like the file to stay in
one letter like a list of students going to one school. The letter is to a
high school and I'd like the letter to have the list of the students that
went to that high school listed on the letter. Every time I do a mail merge,
the next student on the list goes to the next letter.
Can you please help me?

Look into a catalog or directory merge rather than a letter merge.
