How do I get "&S" to just be "&S" text instead of strikethrough?

I am in excel, typing in a custom header. I am trying to type the text "S&S
File" but is just comes out as "S File" with the word "File" with a
strikethough format. I can't find this in the AutoCorrect options. How do I
get my text to come out right?
