How do I GET RID of the Info Bar????

Hi,

I've tried setting all my "advanced options" to what the help guide states,
in order to stop the information bar from popping up every time I browse the
Net.

I know I have my settings set to LOWER than recommended, but that's the way
I want it, and I CANNOT STAND seeing and HEARING this information bar anymore.

I have IE7 with Windows XP SP2 OS.

Can somebody tell me what to do?

Thank you

I believe Shani is referring to the happy gold bar that appears when bad
things could potentially happen, like installing ActiveX controls, etc
occur.

If you want to commit a cyber suicide then here it is, but it is useful and
let you know what going on when you browse a bad website?.
= Click Start >> Control Panel>>Network and Internet Connections >> Double
click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
Click Privacy Tab then click on Pop-up blocker settings Button and uncheck
the alert me check box there:
[ ] Show Information Bar when pop-up is blocked.

Click advanced Tab under Browsing option scroll down to:
[&] Browsing:
[ ] Disable Script debugging for (IE) <= check this box
[ ] Disable script debugging for (other) <= check this box
[ ] Display a notification about every script error <= uncheck this option

Click [OK] and you done!.
