How do i get rid of the adobe tool bar on Word?

When i set up Word on my new system, i kept getting these annoying messages
about adobe macros. I finally told it to enable the macros. Now i have an
adobe tool bar on Word that i cannot delete permanently even using the
customize command. How do i delete that tool bar until I am ready to use it?
