How do I get rid of multiple calendars?

The navigation pane lists multiple calendars that I never use. I can remove
them, but they keep coming back. I'd like to get to one calendar, and not
have to select from among a bunch of identically named calendars.
 
Can you close the extra Personal Folders that are open?
