How do I get reminders to pop up in a copied calendar?

I needed to have two calendars; so I copied the one I had orginally. Using
the original for someone else and one for me. The copied calendar though
isn't popping up reminders, thus missing appointments! How can I fix this?!

Outlook by itself will remind you only from the default folders. You'll
need to buy a third-party tool like
http://www.slovaktech.com/remindermanager.htm if the other calendar is NOT
in your default data store and
http://www.slovaktech.com/extendedreminders.htm if it is in your default
data store. There may be other such tools as well, and Google will help you
find them.
