How do I get attachments (photos) to preview in the body of my message
without opening each attachment or photo? Outlook exprss allows this, but I
have not been
able to get Outlook to do this.

You can't get Outlook to do this because it's built not to. If your senders
want you to see images in the preview pane, they must embed the images in
their messages, not attach them. Outlook always shows attachments as
attachments.
