How do I get Outlook to recognise / process Lotus Notes invitation

I know some people that use Outlook and can receive and accept Lotus Notes
invitations. I have Outlook 2003 but just see a text email with invitation
details. I cannot accept and have it automatically update my calendar.

for it to have a hope of working in outlook, it needs to be sent in a format
usable by outlook and it sounds like it's being sent as plain text.

Thanks for your reply Diane. The Lotus Notes email is my work system. I can
send the same invitation to my home Outlook email (doesn't recognise it) and
to a friend's work Outlook email (does recognise it). I'm hoping there is an
option or plug-in to get my home Outlook recognising / processing such
invitations. Any further thoughts? Thanks again, Jerry

I'm not real familiar with notes - does it have a plain text option for
sending email like outlook does? if so make sure you aren't sending it as
plain text.

Also - if you are just sending appointments home and don't really need to
accept or decline, send as attachments. When you open the attachment, click
Save and close to add it to the calendar.
