How do I get outlook to look for mail when outlook is closed.

Is there any way that outlook will look for mail while outlook is closed (say
every 15 minutes) and lets me know with an e-mail alert that mail has
arrived. I can then open outlook to read the mail.

OL needs to be open, allthough it can be minimised.
There is an alert option in mail settings.

Incredimail for Outlook has this feature, I was wondering if there is a way
to do this without Incredimail, thereby only using Outlook. Or at least
minimize outlook in the lower right hand toolbar (for instance when outlook
is active it is on the right hand side of the windows toolbar ) .

Both Outlook 2002 and 2003 have the ability to minimize to the system tray;
OL 2002 via a registry setting and OL 2003 by clicking the OL icon in the
system tray and choosing "Hide When Minimized". There are freeware system
tray minimizers for other versions.

Is there a way to bring all of Incredimail's back into Outlook 2003?
I want to stop using Incredimail and go back to Outlook without losing all
the e-mails I have in Incredimail.
I'd tried to e-mail Incredimail with this question but did not receive a
reply.
Thanks in advance for your help.
