How do I get old e-mail messages in Outlook 2003 Inbox?

I have a new Windows Profession XP computer running Microsoft Office 2003. I
am attempting to configure Outlook to import all of the current old Inbox
e-mail messages and address book contacts that are currently retrieved from a
POP3 mail host. The Windows98 computer that is being replaced is using
Outlook Express that currently shows the old Inbox e-mail messages and
address book contacts correctly.

Currently, I can only get new Inbox e-mail messages. Please reply with
instructions to resolve this problem or with an appropriate URL that provides
instructions to do so.

Thank you,

Do I understand you correctly that your 98 configuration still keeps all the
old messages?
If so, do export them to outlook format .pst file , evt copy file to disk(s)
or cd or establish a connection between the devices, than import the file(s)
to your new current outlook.

You need to move the OE dbx files to the new computer and export them to
Outlook. See http://www.insideoe.com for the information you need to connect
the files on the new computer.
