How do I get my Microsoft Exchange connection to work in Outlook .

My company uses Microsoft Exchange--Office Outlook Web Account for our
e-mail. I had to purchase a new computer and now I can not interface with my
companies e-mail, even though my set-up is exactly what the company gave me.

This still works fine on my other computer with Windows XP, so is this a
VISTA issue? My company tech. support suggested it is, but had no resolution
for me, except to call Microsoft. Of course, they did not help.

Here is the error message I get when I try to log into my e-mail:
"The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be
online or connected to complete this action."
I click "OK" and get the following:
Microsoft Exchange Server window to check my name and when I click "OK"
again, I get the following:
"Cannot open your default e-mail folders. The file C:\Users\Dr. Tina M.
Serafini\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook0.ost is not an offline
folder file."

I have tried everything to make sure this connection is not blocked, but I
can not figure it out.

Please help???

Tina

Outlook and Outlook Web Access haven't much of anything in common other than
they both talk to an Exchange Server. Which are you using?
