How do I get my messages instantly?

Everytime I want to view any new mail in my Outlook, I have to go up to the
"send/receive" in the tool bar and help it process. Is there a way I can
get my mail as they come in instead of having to go through this process?

Most likley, tools\options\mailsetup\send\recieve..tell it check every some
many number of minutes...but like Roady asks...what version????
