How do I get my Excel to act normal?

My Excel has started to act weird. When I try to highlight a column it jumps
around. When I try to widen a column with the mouse, it jumps around. Can
someone please help me?
 
General suggestions. Start at the top and work down, testing Excel after
each step..

1. Close Excel and restart it.
2. Reboot the computer.
3. Insert the install disk and choose Repair, follow the wizard.
4. Uninstall Excel or Office, and reinstall.
